IRS 1040-A Form

The Form 1040-A is often referred to as the "short form". The 1040A is a 2-page tax form which is used to cover only the most common types of income, deductions, and tax credits. Though it is much faster and easier to file, the 1040-A still covers more deductions and credit that the 1040EZ. This form holds 6 conditions in order for a taxpayer to file it. Also, those filing a 1040A must have a taxable income below $100,000 and opt to take the standard deduction instead of itemizing.
